Fall is officially here which means it's time to stop denying it and accept the dull, chilly weather. And what better way to get through fall than by updating your style. The trend options for the season are endless so I have narrowed down 5 key trends to follow religiously.
My personal favorite - The bomber jacket
Metallic - the one thing I never wear but feels so right this season,
something I'm looking forward to trying
My other personal favorite and only bag I use - The Backpack
Patent leather - Nothing that's familiar with my dresscode but I love the zipper skirt and the thigh high boots. The skirt can move into my closet asap.
Thigh High Boots - hotter and higher than ever

For most youths school has recently kicked off while others have already gotten tired of sitting with their noses buried in books after a few weeks of sitting in the school bench. However, fall and school season is officially upon us which means there is a need of a major style update. Whether you're an early adopter that wants to have the latest fashion offers and look the best at all times, cheer your long days up with something flashy or just in need of decent, warmer clothing, here are some statement pieces you'll have to have in your wardrobe.
There's one thing I really, really need this fall. Just one thing that I want so badly. The perfect yellow parka jacket. I've been browsing through online shops like crazy, on the hunt for the one that fits my description in my head. But the online stores hadn't really released their fullest autumn wear collections. Until now, so I'mma keep on looking until I find just the one I want while drooling over these two beautiful jackets.
Fall equals more clothing and more clothing equals updating your wardrobe with killer-looking jackets. The bomber is a statement piece that's been in the game for a while now, spotted on the runways & worn by the hottest celebs. (Bella Hadid, Rihanna, Kim K) just to name a few. And to everyone's delight, is still the most essential outerwear for a complete fall -16 wardrobe. The all black, army green and camo bombers have been the most popular ones and it's time to introduce the new it-color: bronze.
What makes a cool kid? Good question. A lot of things play a crucial role in that matter but I'm sure 90% of the things you need to do to refer to yourself as one of them starts with a killer outfit to represent your badass personality.
Check out the outfits below to get some inspo on how to get that laid back look with a jumpsuit + leather/ bomber jacket, whether you want to be a beach babe in high waist bikini bottoms + gold jewellery & flaunt some curves, a hip festival babe or sassy city chic.
Get lovestruck with sweet candy coloured pastels, sassy silhouettes and gorgeous mesh dresses just in time for spring. Missguided's candy nights collection is strikingly sophisticated with numerous of stylish bodycon dresses, jumpsuits and bralets. Dress up in fringed heel sandals for a girl's night out and top it all off with a leatherjacket for a rocky yet chic effect.
It's time to start investing in a pair of statement heels and killer dresses. Dusty pink, nudes and tans are rocking this season. And as soon as summer arrives, just imagine how a figure hugging beige bodycon dress or a pair of sand coloured lace up heels will look against your tanned skin.
The snow is starting to melt away and the temperature is slowly rising, which means it's time to replace your chunky winter boots with a pair of light sneakers. Black and white are still the most dominating color of spring -16, closely followed by dusty pink, grey and nude.
I just love Missguided's collections.. They never seize to inspire me. Their apparel's clean cuts, perfect fit and good quality are immaculate. And their styles are the perfect combination for a chic & feminine, yet comfy look with an egde to it (just the way I like it)
Lately I've been crushing on warm nude tones in rusty camel, salmon pink and baked earth. They are really taking me in this season. The colours are all perfect to match with eachother or styled with white or black.
V- Day is closing in on us and whether you're going on a date with your boo or going out with your girls here are some safe numbers that will make head turns wherever you go:
Eenie meenie miney mo.. no. Monochrome hits hard for the new season. And we love the fact that you can never fail to match black and white. Be bold enough to wear that polka dot blazer or those vertical striped pants you've been thinking about but never dared to wear. Or stay within your comfort zone and do it all minimalistic in ripped black jeans, a white tee & a fierce black leatherjacket. Or choose to dress up in a figure hugging high waist black leatherskirt, combined with a tucked in white tank top, a cap and sneakers to get that effortless, chillaxed look. The options are never ending with the classic black and white hues.
Make a distressed top at home:
1. Buy a simple sweater or tee-shirt (H&M got plenty that are cheap)
2. Cut small holes in it (preferably around your neckline, at the front and at the end of your sleeves)
3. Stretch out some holes to make them bigger.
I'm utterly obsessed with the nude colour palette.. Camel, tan, beige etc.. I just can't get over these dreamy latte hues. Mostly because you can match them with anything, they look stunning against my self tanned skin and you can wear it as an all beige outfit without overdoing it. And not to mention that the colours look great as clothes, accessories & beauty products.
New season, new clothes? Definitely. Check out the latest styles and start updating your wardrobe to look as fierce as ever this season. Whether that be in fabulous strapped heels, sassy skirts, co-ords, bodysuits or lace up pieces.
One of the hottest colours this Spring is dusty pink. I've not been a fan of any shade of pink for the past years and I'm still not bold enough to pull off an outfit wearing dusty pink. BUT.. I would love to wear accessories or smaller pieces of clothing in that colour (underwear, beachwear, sunglasses, a watch or a pair of heels or sneakers.)
Since new year people have been spotted wearing work out gear all day whether they hit the gym or not. Is this an acceptable appearance in the fashion world? 'course it is! As long as you mix it up with a few luxurious pieces. Here's one example: Wear your yoga pants and sports bra together with a leather jacket, a big bag and a poppin' lipstick. When it comes down to the shoes; go for a pair of flashy sneakers for ultimate comfortability or a pair of peep toe heels to primp up the outfit.
